How it is set up

    One group per client

    Every host, certificate and domain watched for a client lives in its own group, with its own thresholds and channels.

  2. 02

    Invite the client as a viewer scoped to their group

    A scoped viewer sees only the groups they are invited into, so a client can watch their own status without seeing any other client.

  3. 03

    Turn on the monthly report

    Owners and admins get an emailed uptime report on the 1st for each group, with an optional SLA target.

  4. 04

    Put a Beacon in the client's network

    A plain script, installed by one line and run by the client's own scheduler. It checks the hosts the cloud cannot reach from inside, and feeds that site's link pings, status reports and certificate reports.

Questions

Can a client see only their own group?

Yes. A viewer can be scoped to exactly the groups you invite them into, so a client sees their own group and nothing else.

Do we need to install something on a client's server for their heartbeats?

No. A heartbeat is one line at the end of the job that calls its ping URL. For hosts only reachable from inside, the Beacon is a plain script the client's own scheduler runs, installed by one line.
